It's zooooooooo time!
Sunday, 23rd of August
Yes, finally, our one and only 'zoo-master' Daniel is visiting us for the day!
On the menu : zoo time, zoo time again and some more zoo time ! We've been waiting for this moment all season... skilled jumpers: you don't want to miss this!
Several big-ways will be organized throughout the day. So get here early as things will start moving along at 8am. We'll be around and waiting for the very first dirt-dive announcement on the P.A. -- will you? |

Night jumps!
Saturday, 8th of August
We thought "let's take advantage of the August heat and the upcoming full moon to schedule some night jumps in Farnham!". So we did. Night jumps will occur once we're done with the regular activities of the day, probably 1 hour or so after sunset.
Prerequisites are:
- Be current, and must have performed at least 1 freefall skydive earlier in the day (plan ahead.... get here early!)
- Hold a 'B' license
- Take part in the night jump briefing which will be given before the jumps (night jump endorsement is mandatory)
And remember: Mother Nature also needs to be on our side (we need good visibility and winds of no more than 10 mph on the ground).
Regular jump ticket prices apply for each slot. You'll also need a couple glowsticks for your equipment and altimeter... these can usually be found in stores such as Canadian Tire. We'll only have limited quantities available for purchase here on site. |
Our Skydivers' Christmas Event!
Saturday, 25th of July
Who said cold weather and snow were a must to celebrate Christmas in Quebec?
At Nouvel Air, we decided to host a Holiday party tailored to our reality and adapted to our crazy summer schedule! So once we're done jumping for the day, we'll all celebrate Christmas together and we most certainly hope you'll join us... On the menu:
- Turkey (with cranberries, gravy)
- 'Ragout'
- Meat pies
- Mashed potatoes
- Three salads (creamy coleslaw, carrot, garden)
- Marinades, buns and butter
- Two desserts to choose from (Christmas theme)
- Coffee, tea, herbal tea
B.Y.O.B.! No alcohol available for purchase on site...
You should also bring with you:
- A gift, wrapped, of $5 in value (gift exchange to take place after dinner)
- A Christmas decoration (stocking, ornaments, tree, lights, ...)
Feeling a little adventurous? We're still looking for a Santa Claus... and we'll be glad to reward the brave volunteer with warm cookies and a tall glass of milk!
Tcikets are already on sale at Manifest for $20 each. Hurry, quantities are limited and seats are reserved on a first-come first-served basis ! |
